Saint-Tropez Insider is an online magazine about the village and the peninsula: places to eat and go out, walks, the events calendar, the weather and what is happening locally. The site is free and independent. It is published from France, in French and English.
Where our material comes from
The news starts from the local and regional press. Each piece is rewritten for this notebook, with the context someone unfamiliar with the peninsula needs, and credits the original outlet at the foot of the page with a link to the original article. We do not republish articles as they stand.
Venue pages (restaurants, nightlife, activities) draw on public Google Places data, on the venues' own websites and on what they tell us. Opening hours, prices and menus move fast in a seasonal village: always check with the venue before travelling.
The walks follow coastal and inland routes, with indicative distance, duration and elevation. Map tiles come from Esri and map data from OpenStreetMap, credited in the legal notice.
Photography on the site comes from royalty-free image libraries unless stated otherwise. Images are chosen for atmosphere and do not necessarily document the place described.
How the site is funded
Two sources, and nothing else:
- Advertising, served through Google AdSense. Ad placements are labelled “Advertisement” and are visually distinct from editorial content.
- Partner links, which may earn us a commission if you book after clicking, at no extra cost to you. These links are flagged where they appear.
What money does not buy: editorial selection. No address enters the notebook in exchange for payment, and no venue reviews what is written about it before publication. Commercial terms are set out on the partners page.
