Planning to drive in between October and March? Brace yourself. Port access gets messier, and spaces already scarce become scarcer still. The Parking Relais des Pins Panoramique (free shuttle every 15 minutes) is probably your smartest bet. Or forget the car altogether and take the bike.
Long term, it's solid news: 180 spaces means 180 fewer cars circling the narrow streets hunting for a spot. The mayor even mentions eventually banning through-traffic in the old town centre. Time will tell if he follows through.
