On August 5, Place des Lices becomes a stage. Délices Sonores. Fifteenth edition.
The concept stays simple: free concerts, plane trees overhead, families and tourists mingling on the benches. No frills, just live music in the open air, a summer night stretching late. Last year brought gypsy jazz. This time, the lineup hasn't officially dropped yet, but the spirit holds: acoustic, convivial, open to everyone.
Place des Lices is the village heartbeat. The market on Tuesday and Saturday mornings, pétanque games in the afternoon, and summer evenings like this, musical nights that bring a bit of calm into the season's chaos. No glitter, no VIP: just a public square turned open-air concert hall.
You bring a folding chair, a bottle of rosé (discreetly), settle under the trees. Kids run between improvised bleachers, dogs doze, tourists pull out their phones. When night truly falls, the light shifts, sound carries better, and suddenly you remember why you love this village.
Meet on August 5. Free, as always.
